The PEI Red Mud Company is made up of a mother and daughter team.
Kay Reeves serves as President of the PEI Red Mud Company. Kay has been an entrepreneur and a business innovator for over 30 years. Her experience has been in marketing and management. Her marketing exploits have taken her across Canada, the United States and Asia.
Marlene James serves as CFO of PEI Red Mud Company. She is also currently the Accounting Officer for Holland College. She has been employed with the College for the past 17 years and has held positions in accounts receivable, payroll, and purchasing.
Kelly Sutcliffe serves as CEO of PEI Red Mud Company. She currently directs the marketing and sales team. Before Kelly moved to her current position she was a trainer for the Kaplan SpellRead program. Kelly takes pride in quality assurance and is determined to manufacture, design, and create quality Island products.
From a young age, Marlene and Kelly have been involved in their mother's entrepreneurship experiences. Some of which include a bed & breakfast, a local gym, a Canadian water company, dairy bars, and a private school.
The major strengths of the PEI Red Mud company are the skill sets that we bring to the table - marketing, accounting and training. Not to mention, the personal touch.
